Privacy Policy

608 Exam Prep is a product of Harpoon Data LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.
What we collect and why

Payment card data never touches us. Web purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google.
Who processes data for us
Railway (hosting and database), Lemon Squeezy (web payments), Apple and Google (in-app payments), RevenueCat (purchase receipts and entitlement state; no card data), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (job-fit scoring and cover-letter drafts; per Anthropic's commercial terms, our API inputs are not used to train their models), Beehiiv (the marketing newsletter you can join separately), and Expo (app delivery and push notifications). Job boards (Adzuna, JSearch, USAJobs) receive only search terms and a location radius, never your identity.
We do not sell or share personal data. No data is used for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.
Your controls
- Delete your account in the app or web portal (Account > Delete account). This permanently removes your account, progress, radar profile, and cover letters. Also described at 608examprep.com/delete-account.
- Bought in the app without adding an email? Your purchase records are pseudonymous. To have the server-side records removed, email support@608examprep.com with the Support ID shown in the app's Account screen. Apple and Google retain their own purchase records under their policies.
- Pause or delete Career Radar anytime in the app; radar data (profile, matches, letters) is automatically purged 90 days after a subscription ends.
- Every digest email has a one-click pause link.
Retention
Study progress: life of the account. Radar data: purged 90 days after your subscription ends, or immediately on request. Usage events: 24 months. Sign-in links: hours.
Children
This product is for working adults and is not directed at children under 16.
